  • Through your use of the app
  • Through your use of the website
  • When you contact us or communicate with us through the platform (for example online chat)
  • When you contact us or communicate with us by email

Your interaction, purchases of services and, in some cases, consents you have given will determine which parts of section 2 of this privacy policy are relevant to you.

2.1 Professional healthcare treatment

We process the following personal data about you when you receive online professional healthcare treatment through the platform as a result of your purchase of one or more of our services:

Ordinary personal data

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Age
  • Sex
  • Date of birth
  • Telephone number
  • Correspondence
  • CPR number (Danish civil registration number; confidential personal data)

Special category personal data

  • Health data that it is necessary to process in order to provide professional healthcare treatment (for example medication, symptoms and illnesses).

OSAIA makes an initial assessment of which professional healthcare treatment you need. We do this in order to assess how your further programme should be arranged, and in order to give you the correct online professional healthcare treatment, coaching, teaching and advice.

We process your personal data in order to perform the contract entered into with you, for the purpose of combating disease and managing health services, cf. Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (ordinary personal data), section 7(3) of the Danish Data Protection Act, cf. Article 9(2)(h) of the GDPR (special category personal data), and section 11(2), no. 4, of the Danish Data Protection Act, cf. section 7(3) of that Act (CPR numbers).

Information covered by the record-keeping requirements is kept for 10 years from the last entry in the patient record, in accordance with the applicable legislation. Patient records that are the subject of a complaint, a supervisory case or a compensation claim are deleted after the case has been finally closed, if the case extends beyond the 10-year period.

Information collected through the logbook may also be processed for other purposes and on other legal bases.

Personal data is processed solely for these purposes for as long as it is necessary, and OSAIA makes sure to anonymise the information as soon as possible after it is extracted from your patient record. For this purpose, OSAIA processes only patient-record information that is less than 5 years old, in accordance with the Danish Health Act. OSAIA processes your logbook information only for as long as you have an active subscription.

We process the following personal data about you if you contact us through the platform or by email, including in order to book a free call:

We process your personal data for marketing on the basis of our legitimate interest in marketing our service and similar products, cf. Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. However, we only send marketing material by email and push notification in the app on the basis of your active prior consent, in accordance with section 10(1) of the Danish Marketing Practices Act.

Your personal data and the associated consent are deleted when the consent is withdrawn. The declaration of consent itself is, however, kept for up to 5 years after withdrawal.

2.9 Creating a user profile in the app

We process the following personal data about you if you choose to create a user profile in the app:

  • Name

When a user profile is created, we process the personal data above in order to create and administer your user profile, at your prior request, cf. Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

We keep your personal data until you yourself choose to delete your user profile.

At present, OSAIA uses the following data processors or categories of data processors:

In some cases it will also be necessary to disclose your personal data to independent controllers. This concerns the following categories of recipients, on the following legal bases:

Article 9(2)(f) of the GDPR (CPR numbers)).

If your personal data is transferred to data processors or controllers established in countries outside the EU/EEA that do not have an adequate level of protection, such a transfer will be based on the adequacy decision concerning the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. This will only be the case in particular support situations, and your personal data will not be stored directly in unsafe third countries.

You have a number of rights in connection with our processing of your personal data.

Among other things, you have the right:
